Definitely one of the top shops I've ever been to! Very clean, well organized and had an awesome selection of new and used vinyl. Brandon was a pleasure to visit with as well, such a great guy! We can't wait to come back!

Hands down the best used vinyl selection on the coast. Great prices, nicely presented and organized. The owner is super nice and welcoming. I’ve found quite a few gems here. One time I bought a used Bob Dylan box set for ridiculously low price, when I came back months later the owner said he had found the booklet that belonged to the box (no book was why it was so cheap) he gave me the book and seemed genuinely happy to even though it had cost him profit. Love that! Love this little shop

My husband and I were in Pacific City for our anniversary and decided to snoop around the central coast for record shops. This one had suspiciously good reviews, so we made the drive to Newport. I’m so glad we did—because WOW. Hidden gem doesn’t even begin to cover it. I came with a simple mission; find a Purple Rain album & left with that, plus 3 additional albums! Now… I’ve been to a lot of record shops in my travels, and I say this with my full chest: this one blows them out of the water. Tucked into an unassuming downtown spot is the most organized, thoughtfully stocked, and genuinely cared-for record store I’ve ever stepped into. Every section is dialed in. Every record is clean, sleeved, and clearly handled by someone who actually gives a care. The selection is unreal—jazz, new wave, soundtracks, new vinyl, used vinyl, equipment, sleeves… you name it, it’s there. And not in a chaotic “dig at your own risk” way—this place is a dream to browse. The website already had me impressed, but seeing it in person? Chef’s kiss. We also met the owner, who was incredibly friendly and easy to chat with—zero record-store snob energy, all passion and knowledge. You can feel how much love goes into this shop. We’re already planning our next Newport trip solely so we can come back here. Shopping list is being made. Wallet is being prepared. If you love vinyl even a little bit, you need to stop in. No questions asked.

I'm a local and stopped in for the first time on a recommendation from a friend. My partner had been asking for a turntable but I had no idea what to look for. The owner was so nice and knowledgeable that I had to buy from him. Ended up purchasing a nice Audio Technica that made my partner very happy! Thx for the excellent & friendly customer service. We'll be back again very soon!

We stopped in during a coastal road trip. Came for a browse through some Christmas records (of which there was a fun selection of uncommon titles) and had a blast browsing through the other media. If you're into retro media formats (VHS, Laserdisc, Cassettes) this place is for you. Prices were very fair. Many items I'd never seen in a physical shop before. The shop keeper was friendly and fun and the store was so well organized and presented, making browsing a really enjoyable experience.
