Newbury Comics Norwood

The shelves are looking pretty empty. The record section is shrinking. Newbury Comics what are you not telling us? This looks like a store in decline right before they announce they are closing down. I hope not but something is definitely happening.

A generous selection of music CD's & vinyl records. For the collectors of super heros, villains and a plethora of collectibles. Lots of cool T Shirts, hats and comic books. Knowledgeable welcoming staff along with the shop's goodies gives this shop lots of stars to rave about.

If I'm not mistaken, I believe this is the last standalone Newbury store that hasn't been swallowed by a mall. Store is huge, and has a huge selection of all of the kitsch that Newbury has come to be known for, Funko Pops for days, clothing, posters, figurines, games, books, comics, novelties, and a reasonable amount of records. More records than I expected actually, and this one still even has a handful of CD racks as well. I literally grew up shopping at Newbury stores weekly. Most of my music collection was purchased from their various locations. As most of the stores moved into malls, and their music stock dwindled, I didn't visit them as much, but this location gives the vibes that the old stores all had. If I lived closer, I'd visit it regularly.

Wow, what a selection! If you love music they have tons of records and equipment to listen to it for sale! They also have movies, new and used. Tons of unique items, gifts, collectibles and more! They have a Zoltan at the front door too! Check it out if you are nearby!

This store was much larger than i expected and had tons of high quality collectibles, movies, clothes, and posters that looked cool. The employees were nice and helpful with finding what I wanted to buy. We had fun looking at all the products they had in stock, especially the “S.H.Figuarts”
