Only giving a extra star due to variety of product. That being said trading cards are insanely overpriced as if it’s owned by a grown adult that just learned about Pokemon and thought “Yeah people are suckers, they eat this up”. Please please do not buy from here the prices are hyper inflated like they’re greedy and want max profit. Go online to tcgplayer and get the cards at market value. They are selling $6 booster packs for $10 and for older packs they are charging a crazy premium. A $46 booster bundle of 6 cards they are charging $90… best way to let them suffer is to let the stock sit till they wise up because its one thing to profit and completely different to be outright greedy. Please do research and dont just waste your paycheck buying yourself or kids insanely overpriced product. One of the workers couldnt even explain why some packs were so inflated in price. Do they have to match the market entirely? Not saying they should, but should it be fair? Absolutely. Their rent to stay in the mall shouldn’t be the customer’s problem

So they downsized their store location and got rid of half their stock. Always used to go there for funko pops they had a huge giant wall of them. Now in their new store they only have 2 little isles of funkos absolutely no options anymore.

A trip to Roosevelt Field isn’t complete without stopping here. Lots of blind boxes! Also anime, manga, and more. The staff are very kind and knowledgeable. The vibe is also always great! Fun place!

I've been to a few comic book shops, and Newbury Comics isn't bad. They sell everything that you'd expect, including figures, comics, manga, apparel, posters, and more. I do think it's cool that they sell vinyl records too. The staff was very friendly and accommodating. A couple of negatives is that the store feels kind of cramped, but I am aware that the store will be moving so hopefully the new space will be bigger.
