Great place to buy records, see some local shows and hang out.
Super friendly, open to learning about artists the workers have never heard of, great selection of any genre, nice vibe, owner of the store knows where every vinyl is, good pricing.
Manny is the man. He’s cool. He will talk to you. Regarding music, Manny has a wide range of knowledge of various music genres as he used to DJ at various clubs. His store has tons of 90s hip hop and rap, new wave / alternative, techno / tech house / hard house / deep house from the 90s, 70s (disco & rock) and multiple early to mid 80s genres (e.g., Hi-NRG & Freestyle). I highly recommend his store for you to stop by and start digging for records. Finally, unlike what I’ve read, his prices have always been reasonable.
Manny is the man. Walked in, immediately greeted me. Took the time to have conversation and talk about music both old and new. Gave me a ton of recommendations on genres I was interested in. Thank you Manny, for going that extra mile and can’t wait to listen to all your recommendations. You have a customer for life.
Really dope space with a nice variety despite it being a small store. I have been here twice as a vendor selling my cheesecakes for Shine On, a free family friendly event that showcases many talented DJs, MCs and musicians of the sort. From the well known to the up and coming. And also a great outlet for us small business owners to spread the word with our offerings. Shout out to The Unity Project and La Arruina fot making this event happen in collaboration with Mxxnshine Records. And big ups to the owner Manny and his staff!
