Music Connection (Manchester)

First visit today, looking for 45s. Don't usually post on shopping experiences, but this was a memorable visit, but not for reasons one might expect. Most of their 45s are unpriced. They have too many to put prices on, the clerk said. I asked her to price a couple; she asked another worker to come over and help her price the 45s; as I was standing there he inspected the 45s, looked at the discogs prices, and proposed a price, and then raised it two or three times; bizarre and awkward sales tactic. Now I know why they have so many 45s: they don't know how to sell them. If you're going to charge a mint for 45s, at least put a price sticker on them. Anyway, to make a long story short, I found the same 45s on discogs at half the price, sealed!! Thanks, Music Connection!

I enjoy browsing the selection of vinyl at this store, and the staff is knowledgeable and friendly. I was disappointed to find out they aren’t accepting their own gift cards right now until further notice, which caught me off guard during my visit. It would be helpful to have an update on the website or letting the customers know before getting asked for payment, to avoid surprises. Hoping this gets sorted soon I’d love to come back!

Went here to unload my record collection and turntable. Owner was quick in going through the records and giving a fair market price for them. They do have a good variety of records in stock as well.

I read online the rave reviews of this store, I went there to buy a gift card for my daughter in law, it's a small place but wow I was impressed not just because of the vintage & newer vinyls that I saw but the staff was so wonderful, 2 men were working while one was busy at the register the other was stocking the shelves, he came right over after I walked around for a few moments he could probably see I was checking out what they had first, he was so gracious & kind to give me my space then asked are you looking for anything particular I was so grateful he lead me right where I wanted to be & so knowledgeable about exactly where to find the right genre & extremely knowledgeable about each record he saw, yet if there was an artist he hadn't listened to he was very honest about it, when I explained why I was there he sent me to the man behind the counter on my receipt it states John, wish I got the other man's name too. Both were extremely nice but what I most admired was what happened while I was looking around was a woman looking for a specific record & when she went to the man behind the counter "John" he stated they didnt have it now but could take her name & he would order it & call her when it arrived!!! I'm old school retail just like these sweet men obviously are, that is why I stayed in the store to look around & not only got a gift card but bought an album & I soooo will be going back to Music Connection again, I told my husband, "we're breaking out the turn table again" He would be in heaven with their selections!!!" So Thank you Music Connections of Manchester NH for being so awesome!!! The only thing I have to say negative is tell people your parking lot is extremely right after the 99. If that's my only complaint I'm having a great day!!!

They have tons of records and is full of old record equipment, probably very niche, not a great atmosphere due to intensely cramped layout. It is not accessible for any shoppers with mobility devices and the clerks do not acknowledge you. We went with a list of about ten well known artists and soundtracks and they had nothing to our interest. We also found it on the pricier side.
