Mojomala Books, Records & Cool Stuff

A great shop for retro books and records… I’ll be back to buy some records for my wife’s record player.

I ordered a book online and couldn't have been happier with the whole experience. The book was priced very reasonably, and arrived in perfect condition. It was in my mailbox only a couple of days after I ordered it. I will happily do business with these people again. Highly recommend!

Mr. Abate, is really friendly, and his shop is "cool". It also has a lot of great deals and interesting reads. I found Bukowski and Jean Genet at a good price and well worth it.

I genuinely can’t believe yesterday was my first time in Mojomala - truly the most incredible gem tucked away in Silver Spring. Michael, the owner, is so helpful, patient, and kind! The small but mighty store has SO many finds, no matter what you’re shopping for, and prices seem lower than most local vinyl shops. I stopped in specifically for Record Store Day, and it was the best experience I’ve ever had - Michael and his wife even showed up at 6am with handmade cookies and hot coffees for everyone in line. I can’t wait to come back!!

Just found my favorite new bookstore tucked right next to a brewery! I still haven’t finished the stack that I bought last time, but I definitely want to go back soon. The selection of books is very well curated and prices are affordable. Great place to stop if you need to grab a gift for a friend.
