Very cool record store. Has that old school vibe but my niece and I didn't feel out of place even though we clearly aren't the type of people normally chilling in a record store. Prices for new records are a little cheaper than the mall and we had a great time looking through a decent sized used record collection that were very reasonably priced.
What's not to love about Matone's? Adam runs a great outfit here. There's always great selections to choose from and though it be small, it be mighty. Have a question - just ask! Adam is quick to find an answer, order for pick up, send a message. It's one of my favorite go-to record stores in Montco. Still my top fave record store in Montco. You can fight me on that.
This is a great little record store. They have new and used vinyl. Great selection, reasonable prices. Adam and his staff are friendly and knowledgeable. If you love music and especially vinyl they are definitely worth a visit.
Probably one of the best record stores I've been to. Fair prices and a lot of great hard to find LPs that I haven't been able to find anywhere else aside from online. Wide variety of genres, new and old so you are guaranteed to find something you're interested in for a hard to beat value. I went in expecting to buy a couple records and walked out with over 10 LPs.
Not just 5 stars for the excellent customer service, but also for the authenticity of this gem! From the moment I walked in, everyone was welcoming, friendly, and genuinely helpful. The store has a variety of inventory, and thanks to their amazing organizing system, the records are easy to search through—you’ll have no trouble finding exactly what you’re looking for (and probably a few surprises you didn’t know you needed!). I loved the character and charm of this cozy shop, tucked away in downtown Collegeville. It has that local, authentic vibe you just don’t find anymore. The owner and staff were kind, approachable, and clearly passionate about music. A must-visit for any record lover! Thank you and I will be back!
