The ladies that run this shop are both nice as can be. Small shop with a great selection. The Dave Mustaine meet and greet was one of the best I have attended. Definitely recommend stopping by.

Whenever I'm in the Nashville area, I try to visit as many record stores as time permits. I've always wanted to check out Luna, but I never found myself in Franklin until last night. While in town for an event, I had just enough time to stop by the store before it closed at 7 pm. Luna is located inside The Factory, a venue that once served as a genuine factory, producing stoves and ranges. It now houses a variety of retail shops and dining options. The shop is smaller than I thought it would be, but everything is well-organized and separated by genre. I love collecting new and used 45s. I was able to find a 45 that's been on my "wantlist" for quite some time while I was there. The price was more than fair, too. They had a lot of other 45s that I hadn't run across before, so I was able to add several more to my collection. I probably could have purchased more than I did, but since it was near closing time, I had to expedite my browsing of their inventory. I was genuinely impressed with their selection of new and used vinyl. Some of the newer, sealed records were priced a little higher than I wanted to pay, but the markup wasn't ridiculous. They had some really creative accessory items for purchase, too, like album cover drink coasters, magnets, and posters. And, if you are looking for rare items that come with a higher price tag, they have a section blocked out for that. I wish I could have browsed the store a little longer because they offered a lot of records that I don't often come across. However, this gives me added incentive to return another time. Luna Record Shop is a well-stocked store situated in a unique location. It's well worth your time to check this place out.

Love going in here every time I'm at the Factory. The selection is really solid and turns over very quickly, so each visit is a new adventure. Its got the perfect mix of new and previously used. I've also found some rare vinyl here, including a 1985 Nirvana album I've been looking for. And the staff is friendly and helpful (they aren't just on their phones being antisocial).

I love this little record shop. It's not a huge shop, but they do have a really great selection. I usually always find a few records to pick up while just browsing. They also have a rewards punch-card system which is great too. Definitely recommend if you are in the Franklin area.
