Great record store with good vibes. Very relaxed, and they dont mind if you sing along with the records they are playing. Good selection, better prices then down town.

Love Wheel Recs is a smaller store compared to the almost big box store vibe of Waterloo Records. It feels like your old school neighborhood record store. Lots of classic vynil in the bins!

I discovered Love Wheel after eating nearby, As soon as I stepped through the door I felt at home. It’s a little tricky to find tucked away off burnet, but with a great selection and even greater customer service I can definitely say I will be back! I encourage anyone, collector or not to give them a visit!

So I popped in to kill some time and as I was browsing through the records for a gift and looking up records on my phone and listening to them on YouTube to see if I liked the songs that caught my eye. I don’t use the players in stores because I have a hearing issue and I typically point the speaker to my ear to actually hear the music and look up lyrics I have no idea why he decided to be rude. He asked if I was looking for something in particular and I mentioned I was browsing. He told me to get out because he wanted to leave and I just been looking at my phone for 20 minutes? Accusing me of not actually browsing I guess? He was just a total jerk. You have a shop, people browse. If you wanted to leave early or the store was closed, you can say that in a nice way. If you don’t want people to browse don’t have a store. Definitely not coming back, it was my first time there and I had the feeling of being watched carefully. Extremely rude old guy, you’re better off going somewhere else that is more inclusive and has a better selection of records. Such a disappointment.

Great visit to this will stocked record store. The owner is super knowledgeable and in touch with the local scene. Check the website for events and in-store performances. Definitely recommend.
