Niche. Cute. Passionate and informed staff/owners. Records are priced to sell without undervaluing the records. I spent $200 on a few records and price checked discogs and saved at least $175 by not buying on discogs. I bought northern soul but the jazz, reggae and weirdo records were plentiful.
Came here to see a show. It's great to see record stores supporting local music. The vibe is unpretentious and the selection is good with decent prices. Also there was a cute cat!
Awesome vinyl spot among Oakland's growing list of places worth visiting regularly. I saw a record I'd been looking for for years on one of their IG reels and they kindly held it for me when I called. Will be back!
Traded in a new LP, fair pricing, friendly staff & awesome music! Buy local! Great Store!
If you are in the area, this is THE SPOT and it’s not even close. Honestly. I stumbled across it while visiting the area. They have an insane inventory - a literal crate diggers dream come true. I typically don’t purchase a ton when I’m traveling, but I couldn’t resist and brought home way more than intended. Would have picked up even more olif I had more space in my carry on. The next time I’m within 200 miles of this place I’m making the trek. Aside from the inventory the guy working was excellent to talk to and suggested a couple albums. I took him up on one and it did not disappoint. They know their stuff, and like their shirts say: Best Sounds In Town.
