Lightning Joe's Guitar Heaven

Wow! I brought my guitar in for a restring and Lightening Joe did some additional small repairs as well. When I got it home, I played it right away and I cried!! My guitar has NEVER sounded as good! It didn't even sound this good when I first bought it new (nice Martin guitar). I've been playing guitars for 50 years but never thought I was good at it. What a HUGE difference Lightening Joe made! They really are experts and I will be bringing my guitar back again!! Thanks for motivating me to play my guitar everyday again!

Cannot say enough about this place - Lightening Joe was in a world extraordinary. He repaired & refretted two of my 20+ year old guitars while providing excellent guidance for me to purchase my first new guitar in years. Lightening Joe gave me options on the repair work & was completely upfront about what was absolutely needed & what wasn’t. Equally he clearly stated what he could do as far as repairs & what he couldn’t - refreshingly honest. Marlene (Mrs Lightening) & the 2 Josephs (one with beard & one not) couldn’t have been nicer. I live over an hour away but I’ll coming here for all my guitar/equipment needs

What an incredible experience! As a drummer, I have to say that this is an awesome experience to see so many various stringed instruments! I love learning and playing my ukulele, and this place didn't disappoint, at all! I highly recommend, even if you're not a guitarist, to visit this place. Staff is excellent and very welcoming and very knowledgeable. You'll love it!

Rare is a guitar shop with such a selection. I am a touring guitar tech and I shop here to restock on parts and bits between tours. They have every obscure part I have ever asked for. Even more rare is a shop I can walk in. Ask for a switchcraft #11 jack. And the person behind the counter know exactly what I need. This is that rare shop where I can spit out the exact technical term for something and they know exactly what I'm talking about. Unlike gc that wouldn't know the difference between a one spot and an iec cable.
