Great place to shop for vinyls, art, posters, and more. The owner deeply cares about providing a platform for musical expression in the downtown area of Natchitoches and it shows. They utilize a very unique park area across the street that boasts a stage and seating, which they use for live musical showcases. Incredible vibe and a great addition to our downtown. Be sure to check them out and listen to some great local artists.

Laughing Sam’s has a very well curated selection of vinyl records at consistently reasonable prices. Some of my favorite, rarest additions to my collection have come from here, and I highly encourage you to converse with the owner about whatever you find or if you’re looking for something new! So happy to have this place in town, it is a crucial bastion of the music scene here.

You must go here. You must see the beautiful music. You must meet the owner. The place feels like a hangout place which makes you wanna sit, chat, talk music, and just enjoy yourself. That’s what a business should be. I only wish I didn’t live so far away from there.

So thrilled that I found this store while on vacation...Mike and one of his regular customers, Mark, were a fountain of vinyl knowledge and there is a great selection here...including some out of print MFSL One-Steps. Got me a couple of treasures and had a great time...unfortunately he was closed the next two days of my vacation or I would have spent a few more $$$. We need a store like this here is Lake Charles, La.

The store is absolutely amazing. Michael is a great guy who is really fun to hang around and talk too. He has amazing deals at his shop and is a genuinely kind man. I really suggest if you’re ever around the area, or even out of the area to check him out. Great guy!
