Latchkey

This is such a hip independent record store in Philly with a chill vibe. I had previously ordered from Latchkey's online store, so I was excited to visit them in person while in town for a Natalie Merchant concert. I really appreciated how the bins are organized by "type" of music and not genre. In the mood for some indie rock? There's a section for that. Feeling grunge or garage rock. Look for those sections. Plus Marc and his team are super helpful. They hooked me up with a whiplash mailer to use to get my records home safely on my flight back to New Orleans. I look forward to visiting Latchkey again the next time I'm in Philly!

Superior record shop and all things music located in a super chill neighborhood. The guy working was so cool and helped us get informed on this beautiful record player they carry exclusively? From Canada. Grabbed a couple of LPs too. I wish we had more time to dig through the stacks there. They had a very impressive collection. Really fun chatting them up and getting some tips to keep our collection clean and safe at home. If you are looking for a home turntable please go check latchkey, specifically this Canadian table. Will definitely be coming back to this shop

Great record store on Passyunk Ave here in Philly! The place is stocked heavily with a great selection of new vinyl & a back room devoted to reasonably priced used records; all LP’s & 12”s. There is also a slew of VHS tapes to rummage through & some music paraphernalia. The staff at Latchkey is exceptionally friendly & inviting. I scored some titles from The Cult, the Gun Club & The Ramones on my visit, I’ll be back! 🖤
