Stopped in to try this spot after seeing great reviews. Donuts were solid, we got the twist and the raspberry filled donuts. Glaze was tasty and not sickeningly sweet, and raspberry filling was tasty, only wish there was a little more in the donut. Bit of an eclectic spot, looks like and old gas station and also serves Pho. Worth a stop in, fairly priced.
I think my hopes were too high since most locals speak so highly of this establishment. It’s not bad. Very average. The donuts are WAY better than the pho. Wasn’t impressed with the pho at all actually. Lacked flavor. I’d recommend only going for the donuts
Pretty good pho. They have a vegan friendly pho that’s served with veggie broth. For those avoiding dairy, I would not recommend their iced coffees, they all contain dairy and unable to opt for black.
Had the Pho King and Dumplings tacos. Great food, you'd never know it was here as the only Pho spot in 29 Palms. More options of food, but I'll save it for another time. Come by and try it out, and they also do pastries!!! Highly recommend!
This was a cute place to relax and recuperate. Very friendly staff and great pho. Donuts are also phenomenal. A little pricey but for the middle of the desert, I was pleasantly surprised. The also claim their chili oil recipe is over 400 years oil, Which is pretty neat. Side note: bring cash because hot food is cash only.
