Owner started blaring music louder and waved us out (after presumably listening in on a quiet conversation I had with two friends in which we discussed musicians we weren't into). We were the only customers there and never even spoke to him or looked at him, nor did he interact with us aside from informally kicking us out. Edit: I've not claimed certainty that the owner was reacting to our conversation about our queerness but for the sake of respecting his reply, I have removed that bit of context. We felt unwelcome regardless.

The owner didn't say a word to us, but he did turn the music up unreasonably loud while we were next to the speakers and he waved us away. He was too cowardly to even make eye contact with us. This was immediately after we expressed negative opinions about Van Halen. So he is too fragile to handle people not liking his favorite dad rock. It's absurd behavior to see from a grown adult. EDIT: for the sake of giving the owner the benefit of the doubt, and out of respect for the weight of the accusation when used in the correct context, I have removed the part of my review where I suggest the owner might be a bigot. That being said, his reply all but confirmed my suggestion that we were not-so-subtly kicked out for having a negative opinion about Van Halen, which is still absurd and immature.

Had a lovely visit and shopping experience. Good selection of classic rock records (that’s what I focused on) and the owner was very super helpful, giving me a recommendation of a band I’d never heard of before to broaden my musical horizons. That was the difference maker for me. What I really appreciated about him was he looked at what I was already buying (The Beatles and Hendrix). Nothing too crazy, right? But then when I asked him for an audiophile record of something I’d never heard before he really blew my socks off. This is where he set himself, and his store apart, was by recommending me the band “Audience” and the album “The House on the Hill.” I’ve now spun the record three many times in one night and it just sounds so gorgeous. Interactions like this, and people like him, are what makes a record store like this one so precious. Would highly recommend going if you’re into collecting vinyl and opening up your musical horizons. Just ask the sage behind the cash register. Listen. And then behold.

An amazing Record Store Day Experience! Everything I got was fairly priced and and fairly graded on the quality of the record and cover. Tons of classics there and even a whole section for the Beatles. I haven't that many Beatles records in any store I've been to yet. I picked up an original copy of The Stones 'Their Satanic Majesty's Request' for only $30 which is pretty much damn near impossible. An amazing record store in the South Jersey/Philly area, I totally recommend this for all vinyl enthusiasts!
