We've had a fantastic experience with Ingram and Brauns in Pleasanton! My son has been learning the alto saxophone, and we've seen such a noticeable improvement in both his technique and confidence over the past few months. A big part of his progress is thanks to Jason, his saxophone teacher at Ingram and Brauns. Jason has been incredibly patient, encouraging, and knowledgeable—he tailors the lessons to my son's pace while still challenging him to grow. It's been great to see my son enjoy playing and look forward to lessons each week. The store staff has also been wonderful in helping us choose the right instrument and accessories. They guided us through selecting the best alto sax for a student, explained the pros and cons of different options, and helped us find the right reeds, mouthpiece, and cleaning supplies. Everyone at Ingram and Brauns is passionate about music and truly invested in supporting young musicians. We're grateful to have such a supportive local music store and highly recommend them!

With this era of online shopping, it is hard to find a local store for specialty items. We have zero knowledge with music instruments and need to get a flute for my daughter’s beginner class. Staff are knowledgeable, helpful and patient to answer our questions. We took their advice and rent it instead of purchasing one.

Ingram Braun's Music Store is amazing! They have super high-quality musical instruments, from shiny trumpets to beautiful wooden guitars—everything looks and sounds great. I have rented Cellos from them for my daughter, and when it was time, I bought saxophones for my son. If your instrument needs fixing, their repair team is awesome. They always make instruments look and play like new. Plus, their instrument rental program is super easy if you want to try something new or just get started. Everyone there is really helpful and loves music. A big shout-out to Zack—he's always patient and knows his stuff, making every visit a good one! Their music studio is also fantastic. It's really convenient to have lessons right next to the store. My son has been taking saxophone lessons with Jason Bellenkes for more than four years, and we're so happy. Jason is an incredible teacher. He's patient and encouraging, and he's not only taught my son how to play the saxophone but has also helped him really love music. Thanks to Jason, my son's musical journey has been a joy, and he's made so much progress. We're very thankful for Ingram Braun's and their wonderful team!

MY EXPERIENCE WAS 10/10! They have my business for life. Here's why: For a first time renter like me, I appreciate the guidance and expertise that they have. I was thinking of renting a guitar for the first time...and, honestly...I felt that they were really passionate about what they do. They educated me about the instrument, how to properly clean and store it. Although I came in at a busy time, the staff were friendly, very encouraging and they boosted my confidence with the instrument that I'm thinking of renting. When I was inside the store, I was just a bit sad that some families are taking advantage of them, I overheard a family who were entitled for a discount for a repair...when in hindsight, They never bought the instrument at the store in the first place. I guess they just bought a cheaper instrument online and now they realized it's not working properly. The family was so rude to the staff the entire time and demanded the instrument to be repaired immediately. I was shocked. Is this the new norm for the tri valley community? If we don't get want we want, they throw a fit at the store? The staff was still friendly to the family, offered some guidance and gave them some options...but still, it wasn't enough. I praised the staff on handling that situation...that's when I knew, they have my business for life. Anyway, The owner's son helped me set up my guitar...shared some tips, shared some favorite genre of music...they also have a collection of VINYLS! WE NEED THIS IN PLEASANTON!! I would come back here....they have a business for life! SUPPORT YOUR LOCAL BUSINESS!
