This place is wild - they have a skate shop upstairs, a live performance space, a food truck, AND a vintage pinball machine. The South Shore needed a spot like this. Great selection of vinyl and the whole vibe is about community. They host events and shows regularly. Staff is super cool. Even if it’s a bit of a drive from Boston, it’s worth it for the whole experience.
The owners are an amazing group of guys. Very knowledgeable, easygoing, and friendly. I highly recommend them!
I went in for some advice regarding the value of albums I have had for decades. Albums, aside, what a great time I had interacting with the owner, John. He and the shop have a wonderful vibe and his passion for music is off the charts. I am glad I had to wait a bit while he was busy replacing the ball bearings on a young girl's skateboard. (Go figure, upstairs is a skateboard shop and downstairs the music extravaganza.) Watching how John interacted with her and the family left me smiling ear-to-ear. I highly recommend this place for tracking down that album you have been looking for forever, as well as others, of course. In the meantime, have your skateboard repaired or check out buying another.
Awesome store. They know their records and have lots to look through. And a pinball machine! I'll definitely be back when I'm in the area again.
This place is awesome!! Now that I have a working record player, I know where to buy vinyls. I went in with limited expectations hoping to leave with a 45. Nostalgic is one word. Passion is another. If you are a lover of vinyls and nostalgia, this is a must visit...and yes, I left with a 45; One from my very first concert experience.
