10/10 great customer service. bought a brand new sealed record from them and it was unfortunately cracked. Lady behind the counter was very very nice and offered me store credit or my money back. Would highly recommend shopping here!!

Nice staff, great store. Will purchase from here. But... I understand we all gotta make a buck... that being said Id be weary of selling any collections here. I had a record valued at 10 bucks here, listed on ebay and discoggs, multiple thousand dollar plus offers. Sold in person cash sale to private party for 1000$, and while paying attention to the rest of my collection fifty more records, they offered 90 bucks on. Im selling each record in the median range of 20 dollars a piece. Moral of the story is, offering 100 dollars for 2k dollars worth of goods is worse than the 19 year old behind the counter at gamestop letting you trade in your games. I didnt think it got worse than gamestop. I cant believe bending someone over giving 5% of value. Generally for profitable resale, 25-40% value is normal. They must be killing it. Probably not sleeping well though.

I had high expectations before visiting this local landmark, 50 years standing, and Horizon delivered. A couple hours wizzed by as I navigated over the thousands of records and CDs. I purchased a hard to find, unexpected gem, and they tossed in a free CD and a few stickers. Happy hunting~~

I had been visiting my daughter at college in Columbia and had a few hours to kill before my flight from Greenville back to Connecticut, so visited this store and was so glad I did. I'm a CD buyer (fight me) and the selection was really interesting, well-organized and fairly priced. I walked out with 20 CDs across several genres for $83, and that haul included a couple of new/sealed items. I told the friendly guy behind the counter "places like this are why you lace 'em up" which was a dumb way of saying thanks for being considerate of serious music collectors. I highly recommend a visit to Horizon Records!

I spent my first Record Store Day here. It was such a blast and such a great experience. First... impressed on how well thought out and organized this store is. I was prepared to be in a crowded situation and trying to find things and.... that wasn't the case at all. Everyone was friendly there and the layout of the store made it sooooo easy to shop and look around. Secondly, the staff were all super friendly. I had researched about RSD and read about how many people who staff music stores are cranky, tried, and worn out. Horizon's staff were all awesome. They were happy to be there. They were friendly. They were helpful. Thank you Horizon for making my first Record Store Day such a wonderful and memorable experience! You truly earned a repeat customer.
