Tourist trap prices for used 60s-80s vinyl, very few post-millenium releases in stock. Avoid unless you want to spend $10-15 more for a record you could easily get elsewhere.
This is a great place. Lots of different people with different musical interests were perusing records the day we went in. Visit the gum wall, take your insta photo, then go down to the lower Market to Holy Cow for a more authentic Seattle vibe.
Holy Cow Records is an absolute must visit for all music lovers & audiophiles that happen to be in downtown Seattle. Located at the 3rd Floor level of Pikes Place Market (right across from BLMF Saloon), it was at first a bit confusing to find. Ask the locals if you get lost. Well stocked for such a compact industrial space. You can come across many rare finds, just remember to look up at the wall displays & the New Arrivals section next to the cash register. Miles was kind & attentive. We had a good musical conversation. He helped me find an obscure YMO record. I was ecstatic! Thankful for this hidden 💎 record store & will return in the near future!
