The name speaks for itself. I love coming here every time because it’s so much fun digging through all the best jazzy music I could ever want. The place is packed with stacks of records from top to bottom, and every visit feels like finding my own little treasure.
I just think if he got rid of all of the stacks of stuff sitting on top of the base layer of records and the stuff blocking the aisles, and just sold the impressive collection of jazz and blues records beneath them, this would be an incredible store. But as it stands, I could barely get through the space and I’m relatively young and not a large person. I’m down with stores having clutter and even having stacked boxes to dig through, but this is just hoarder level to the point where there’s no way to look at the records.
Was referred to this shop by a coworker. Great find. Super packed small shop. Literally squeezing into the isles but lots to dig through. Lots of stuff. Mostly Jazz but stuff from all genres. Owner is really nice. Lots of knowledge for sure. Will definitely be going back.
Probably the worst shop I’ve ever been to. Average selection is one matter, top dollar prices is strike two, and for the strikeout it’s a terrible browsing environment. Clustered space where the browsers are covered with a tarp for whatever reason, and located in a part of town where there’s essentially nothing in the area. People recommending this dump don’t know what they’re talking about, it represents the bottom of the barrel for real
Giant collection of albums to sift through, you'll definitely find something to take home even if it wasn't something you were looking for. Great place, highly recommend.
