Love This Place! Found Grateful desert on a trip to JT years ago and have been ordering ever since! I love their herbal blends for colds, particularly Respiratory Remedy and Immune Power. Both help me beat back colds and flus in record time. I want to express my appreciation for the quality of their aroma oils! I recently was gifted a product by a different shop with an alleged Lavender scent, I can tell you it was nothing but chemicals! The stark difference between a quality natural product that Grateful Desert uses and the artificial scent in some commonly sold items is stunning! I would Highly Recommend Grateful Desert! If you put quality in, you get quality out!!!!! That goes for the staff as well! I have always found them knowledgeable, warm, friendly and attentive!
The shop is one of the first places I visited five or six years ago before I moved to the desert, and their Holy Smoke spray is gorgeous; I've made sure to have one on hand for years. Anna (sorry if I'm messing up your name) helped me blend my own scent and I always love dropping in
My friend and I stopped in here on a whim and I am so glad we did!! Amanda does an amazing job with getting to know her customers throughout the process of making perfumes and custom oils. All of the products were sustainably sourced and you could feel how much passion she had for providing people with great experiences, thanks again!!
Incredible Store, great selection of herbal tinctures and more!! I love coming here every time I'm in Joshua Tree!!
I'm sure they have great products inside. don't appreciate the spikes over their building sign and on their roof, that is meant to keep birds from landing there. I find it bigoted, when we have already taken so much natural habitat from birds, reptiles, snakes, mammals here in the desert to replace it with buildings of large concrete cubes, I find it the smallest token of humanity to let them rest there at least. and the most important point, increasingly it is worth considering: WE ARE IN A MASS EXTINCTION. the smallest acts move towards better change, when the way we are living right now is not going to last very long at all. if this is going to be an issue brought up of sanitation, then why not just put an awning rather than spikes. that is more humane, inclusive, sustainable. and still keeps your front patio clear of bird debris.
