GOOD TASTE Records

Ordered online from this shop. Record was well packed and intact. But there is price tag sticker right on the original outer sleeve of the record. The sticker is so aggressively adhesive that it feels like it could be used to seal a hull breach on a spacecraft. There is just no way to remove it without leaving glue and layer of paper on it. Collectors will understand the pain. Guys, please change your stickers.

Excellent Record Store!! We visited from Dublin, Ireland and got talking to the owners. We found out they used to live in Dublin some years ago. Great people, great selection and I even got a shipping box for the LPs I bought so they would be safe on the journey back to Dublin. A great store. If we're back in Boston again, we will definitely go back to Good Taste!

My daughter went this morning for record store day. She went for a vinyl she was excited for. She said that people working were very kind, especially the woman at the register. They were organized and my daughter said that it was a really cute place, with a good selection for a small place. She wanted to browse more, but was respectful of the people waiting to get in for record store day, grabbing only what she came for. We will continue to go back. We love and support small businesses.

I was in dire need to find D'Angelo's music and was having no luck and I found this place and they helped me secure his vinyl records. I had a pickup order and I called about my order and the staff was so nice and helpful. It was fair priced which was great because online resellers were hiking up the prices to $1,000+. This shop is conveniently located right in the North End. It is very easy to get to by MBTA. I was blown away by the layout and décor of Good Taste! The pickup process was easy and I ended up browsing for about an hour exploring all their music. They have a vast collection of vinyl records, cassettes, CD's, etc. Staff is there to answer any questions you have but not hovering over you. I will be back to buy more music from Good Taste. 5/5!

This is a nice record store tucked in a quiet corner. Started in 2021, it has a nice decor and vibe that’s quite inviting. There is a good collection of old LPs, CDs and a few rare records apart from new ones. I found the prices quite reasonable and picked up 2 records for 25$. (Synchronicity & River). Both were in very good condition. There are small stools to sit and browse the lower sections of the records and CDs which we found quite useful. The room on the right has mostly new records and a large collection of discounted used records, each at 5$. I would highly recommend GOOD TASTE Records if you are a vinyl aficionado.
