I can’t recommend this shop enough. The staff were incredibly patient while helping me fix up a vintage Rickenbacker slide guitar. Great communication back and forth throughout the whole process, and couldn’t be happier with the end result. I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend to anyone looking for a high quality, honest, and fair luthier.

"Professional repair". This is what you get from Gelb if you need something fixed. And then they'll defend themselves about how hard they worked while admitting it didn't go as planned. I can’t imagine charging someone for work like this. The step is now glued into place. *edit* Gelb called to offer a $25 store credit as compensation. As if I ever want to go back there. And now it’ll will cost more money to get the guitar fixed by an actual repair shop. Keep up that great customer service!

Came in for a specific guitar cable and they had what I needed. Walked around the store and saw they had lots of product for a small space. Tons of equipment on sale too. James at the front desk was friendly.

Excellent customer service, knowledgeable staff and cost effective recommendations make this a must for all things guitar. I was recommended by a seasoned guitarist that has been living in the area for some time. I had broken a peg on one of my tuners and I thought it wasn't repairable and I couldn't find exact replacements online. I thought I was going to have to buy all replacement parts and have them installed but Masood thought it was worth trying to repair it before resorting to that. He quickly looked for spare parts to replace the broken ones and after a little finagling it was fixed and ready to go. I'm really glad I came here as I went from a potentially hundreds of dollars solution to less than $20. In the process I got to learn about different guitars and how they work. Over all it was a great experience - highly recommend!

My experience in ordering a custom Tom Anderson guitar was facilitated through Don Frank, the store's manager. It was a seamless and enjoyable experience and Don kept in contact, when necessary, and offered advice that only served to make the end result exceed my expectations.
