I was recently in to check out the records, I felt welcome & the owner was super nice. I got some essentials (imo) New Order, The National, Gregory Alan Isakov & some Joy Division.

Fair warning, I didn't come here for the coffee, I stopped to check out the records selection. The guy who helped me was extremely helpful. My partner collects records and I wasn't sure what to get him for his birthday but knew I wanted to get him something special. Browsing the records felt like I was looking through a very thoughtfully curated and eclectic selection. He also had packages with records paired with books that he felt fit their mood. Again, I can't emphasize enough that the guy working there was a huge help and I landed an almost mint condition original press of the Phantasm movie soundtrack. I got a really great price on it, too. My partner was over the moon with his present. Highly recommend checking out the record selection if you're a collector. Clearly he cares a lot about what he sells and that's worth supporting.

Great selection w a great local flare. Love places like this. Epitome of local and the owner was really nice. Will be back! The ambient, house and electro selection are great. Found some artists I had never heard of and will now be back to scoop those pressings up. The used selection is impeccable. Good mix of your standard but not overloaded with the thrift store type of selection, either. Their consignment deal with other local shops is a great clown fish in the anemone situation. Gets you to learn about other shops in the city. As an out of towner, I enjoyed seeing what other smaller shops had.

Blossoming new music store in the beloved old Cannella's restaurant space. Tons of clean vinyl, curated by many of Salt Lake's deepest diggers and DJs! Cool place to find and vibe to music of all genres and price ranges... You can be frugal or go baller nuts if you want but either way you're most definitely leaving with some great music. Also don't overlook, other curated media such as cassettes and VHS movies can be found inside this SLC gem. There's something for everyone here! Don't forget to grab a bagel next door at Baby's - which shares the space and also provides espresso at the bar coming 2024... Can't wait for that! Fountain has weekly live music events as well, so follow them and their vendors to stay updated on the haps!
