Forever Changes Vinyl Lounge

Just visited the shop this morning and will 100% be making another trip back soon. If you’re looking for a super well curated collection of jazz records, be sure to check out Forever Changes. You can tell that the owner Shawn has put a lot of thought and time into his collection. He’s also very knowledgeable and we ended up chatting for about 30-40 mins. All around first class experience and would definitely recommend.

Such a fantastic experience with my Dad at this record store. Shawn was awesome to talk to, was extremely knowledgeable and friendly, and we really felt welcome in the space. Will definitely be back next time I'm in town.

The owner of this shop is a light in the downtown phoenixville community. Not only has he curated an incredibly diverse collection of records in mint condition to shop from, he always has the scoop on what’s happening in the local music scene and does all he can to foster success for local artists and fellow small businesses. I am a lifelong collector and cannot think of a single other record shop owner with as much integrity as him. Fair prices ✅ great atmosphere ✅ hosts intimate listening events in store for a variety of genres ✅ lovely human ✅ The only times I have bought records anywhere else since he opened has been directly from artists at gigs.

Since that visit, I’ve come to realize that Shawn and Forever Changes are, in many ways, the musical heartbeat of Phoenixville. He sponsors multiple live music events, both in his shop and at venues throughout the region. He’s often the voice on the mic, championing local artists and celebrating the creativity of others. This store is far more than a business—it’s a community hub for music lovers, a place where passion and art intersect. I highly recommend stopping in, supporting this local gem, and checking out the incredible events they help bring to life in our town.
