Fly Hifi Stereo

FlyHifi stereo is an amazing stereo shop up in Auburn. Well worth the 2 hour drive from the Bay Area to check out the shop loaded with vintage receivers, amps, reel to reels, turntables and speakers. I came home with a pair of excellent sounding JBL L-100’s and a Technics turntable. Steve is very knowledgable and does great work on the equipment he sells. Will not hesitate to buy from him again!

This business nails it. You want that vintage equipment your dad had but sold years ago and now you're at the age where you can afford the nicer things in life. This place has it. Whether you are a Audiophile who enjoys well made stereo equipment or the neighbor who wants to rattle the windows of the house four blocks over, FlyHifi will have the gear you need at better then market prices and there will be no worries about FedEx throwing the delicate circuits around. Flying Hifi hooked me up with a Pioneer amp I've been searching for months and it was literally a 1000 dollars cheaper then the ones on Ebay. Want to have a good day reminiscenting about the good ol 80s music, then make a visit and check out all the beautiful works of audio art. I will be a happy repeat customer.

I can appreciate a shop like this having been in some of the higher-end shops even in Berkeley when I was at University but that was in the 80s. Now retired in my 60s I can appreciate that good quality audio is coming back strong and people now respect older technology as some of the best sounding. They have some real Bargains in there and compared to even shopping on a Craigslist being able to listen to excellent sound sources that they have in the shop and being able to really give you a speaker demo is quite amazing. You don't have to be an audio file to appreciate the quality that they have at some of these bargain prices I totally recommend going up there and just checking them out. Extremely knowledgeable and very helpful for whatever level of audio quality you need..

Just purchased a Marantz 2238b. Steve completely went through the unit and brought everything back to factory specs. A nearly fifty year old receiver is just like new. Very happy with my purchase.
