Exploded Records

I’ve been going to Exploded Records at JuiceLand since they were at the old location in Hyde Park. They’ve always had a DIY charm. It makes sense since one of the best ears in Austin, Andrew Brown (aka Soundfounder from KUTX), is the curator/mastermind behind it. There is something uniquely satisfying about sipping an Originator while flipping through jazz, electronic, and hip-hop vinyl. The atmosphere is vibrant, colorful, and smells like fresh fruit and nostalgia.

Surprising depth of selection here with smiles for miles service. This is a serious record store worth checking out - with or without a smoothie in hand.

I love this record shop it’s absolutely perfect and the music selection is full of local Texas artists. A must if you are a music lover!

Very limited selection, no service, no greeting despite two employees being present.

They have great selections. Everytime I go i find a new hidden gem. Plus you can enjoy a drink from juiceland while you browse.
