Decent selection for new vinyl. Used vinyl seems picked thru, which is to be expected at a location like this. Not loving the customer service here. I guess it's in keeping with cliche record store snobbery or something, but the last few times I've been here, the employees have been rude, like the vibe where you feel like they hate you for being there and inconveniencing them for having to ring you up. Not my usual choice for record shopping.
Pretty cool place!! Not the worst prices and they even have some hidden gems, although they are fairly popular so if you’re looking for something popular you might have a hard time. Prices are pretty good though, especially with used items.
When I first started collecting jazz on Vinyl back in the 1990s, Everyday Records was the best place to buy used vinyl. On any given Saturday, they had piles of clean used Vinyl priced between $8-$12. Now it’s mostly new reissues costing $35-$45, and the used vinyl is $20-$25. I gave them two stars because they are still there - but only half as big as they once were. But they are not selling "everyday music" anymore. They’re selling collectables at museum prices, and I’m not buying it.
EXTREMELY KNOWLEDGEABLE AND FRIENDLY STAFF!!! KNOW THEIR STUFF. When i couldn't find what i was looking for one jumped right around the counter and IMMEDIATELY found it! My kid will be stoked!
Great selection. The staff was helpful and ready to find some obscure pressings. I spent way more than I had budgeted, but that's because I found so many 45s that had just arrived.
