In 2006, my daughter Hannah began working with Mark to learn how to play and sing cover songs with her Baby Taylor Acoustic guitar. Fast forward to today and Hannah has recorded many songs in the studio at Electric Lime Records. Mark is very knowledgeable about all areas of music and provides guidance to singer/songwriters to produce their songs. If you are a recording artist, I would highly recommend contacting Mark.

This studio has everything that you need for your music interests. My son started as a drummer in a band a couple of years back and its been such a great experience for him. Mark is an excellent musician/instructor, easy going, knows exactly how to teach kids in an efficient and fun way. The quarterly performances by kids are a great confidence booster for kids, as well as inspiration to everyone else. After attending a couple of music performances, I started taking guitar lessons with Mark and I’m really enjoy working with him. My daughter also joined a band an year back as singer. We love it, highly recommended!!!!!

My son started with no experience and has been joyfully taken through the fundamentals of playing, not to mention how to tune, change strings and generally how to take care of his guitar. The experience has sharpened guitar skills and offered excellent performance opportunities! Mark is infinitely patient, intuitive in his approach to learning styles, strikes a great balance between playing through songs & focusing on fundamentals, and always leads my teenager to a better, calmer state of mind about performances. My husband also takes bass lessons and thoroughly enjoys the group performance & jam sessions and the musical mentoring.

Mark Huls is amazing at keeping kids interested and passionate about music by listening and teaching to their interests. Mark is truly dedicated to giving kids musical experiences — helps bands produce original music and hold gigs. Mark’s musical genius and artistry inspires kids to learn and have fun! My kids usually come out of their lessons saying “Guess what Mark played for us today”!?! And they love that he can listen to a song and play it by ear.

If you are looking for guitar lessons for your child Mark Huls is the best. He is encouraging, patient and incredibly gifted at teaching and allowing the children to express themselves creatively. He helps kids form bands and they perform typically 2 times per year. So grateful for his the years that he was my daughter’s teacher.
