Was in the area for business and stopped in on a whim to kill time. Left a few items behind as I had found a bunch already and was delighted to see that they were still there in the stacks upon my return. Very cool fellow behind the counter who is always playing a great soundtrack for your browsing experience. I simply love a good record store and this place definitely qualifies. Go and see for yourself!
Good selection of CD’s and Vinyl. Great atmosphere and friendly service.
Great place for records, CDs, cassettes, and gets new stuff in multiple times a week. Don’t sleep on this gem! Super friendly owner who knows all the musics!
This is one of my favorite places to visit. The owner and staff are knowledgeable, caring and always put the customer first. I have been shopping here for about 5 years now and I've always had a great time. They are willing to work with you on pre-orders, will return any defective records and if they don't have something in stock they will order it for you. They have a wide range of music in stock so I'm always finding something good. Electric Avenue provide a personal experience that only a brick and mortar store can. I highly recommend paying them a visit early and often. Like the Olive Garden, when you're there, you're family.
I've been living in West Chester for over 15 years and here since it opened over 8 years ago, and this is by far my favorite store here (music or otherwise). The selection of music is varied and not limited to one genre. If you like music, chances are very high that you'll find something for you. Even better, Jason and Eryn are examples of great record store owners - they are knowledgeable about all types of music, not just what they like; can constantly recommend new musicians to you; never judge you about what you are listening to; and always help you find what you are looking for. I've gotten many phone calls from them when a record comes in that I may not have even specifically asked for but they thought I might be interested in. So, even more important than being great record store owners, they are great people. Jason and Eryn are passionate about what they do and they treat their customers with utmost respect and care. I've probably been there over 100 times by now and I've never seen or heard them make snobby comments about what someone is listening to. They both love music and it's reflected in the way they run their store and how they treat people. I will always be a constant record shopper there!
