Downtown Vinyl

Downtown Vinyl is truly one of my favorite places in Cheyenne. The selection is absolutely incredible — easily the best vinyl collection in town — and you can always find something new, rare, or nostalgic every time you walk in. Beyond the music, what really sets this shop apart is the people. The team is kind, knowledgeable, and genuinely passionate about what they do. They’re always helpful, welcoming, and happy to talk music, which makes every visit such a great experience. I also love what they’ve done with the store — the atmosphere is amazing and it’s become such a special part of our downtown community. As both a customer and a partner, I can’t say enough good things about Downtown Vinyl. Highly recommended to any music lover.

Best record store in Cheyenne! While the previous husband and wife team were nice, It was recently bought by a new owner and he is incredibly friendly and appreciative of his customers. You can tell he loves what he does and told me all of his plans to renovate and remodel since acquiring. The store is rather bland from its appearance and not the most organized, but it makes up for it with their prices and quality of vinyl. Worthy stop if you are passing through. I can’t wait to come back and see what the new owner does!

The woman who runs the store is so helpful and kind, she helped me find cd's and even let me listen to one to be sure I wanted it. Awesome store. Awesome service

I always enjoy visiting their humble record shop! They may not always have the most popular cds but it's a very rewarding feeling when you come across that one album you haven't heard in forever. I've even discovered good records I bought on a whim for no more than $2! That's the best part; their selection may be old and used, but they're in good condition for the most part and so cheap! If you're a cd lover like myself and dig those 90s records, you need to check out Downtown Vinyl. They're awesome!

I visited this store a couple days ago on a whim and boy am I glad I did! Amazing selection of music. There were not many books when I did visit but I am positive it is due to the owners great prices and awesome taste in merchandise to sell. I'm itching to go back already!
