What a find. This record shop has a vast selection of records, local band merch, and art made in house by the owner. I don't know enough about records to know what I don't know. The manager Jake is incredibly patient answering questions. Really appreciate what this shop offers.
A+++ on the staff, especially the 4 legged helper. Great setup where they can ship your vinyl home if you're here visiting. Free parking for locals. Huge supporters of the local rock and metal scene. Solid selection and can order/pre-order whatever you want. Fun other knick knacks and whatnot. Definitely don't sleep on the "Date With A Local" section. It's a mystery bag of music, merchandise, etc at a discounted rate and is a local artist. Cool way to discover someone new in the community.
Some of the friendliest folks in the city. A wealth of knowledge on music. Great shop in a great location (with free parking for locals). Anyone that has anything negative to say about them is just a troll and needs to re-asses their own life. Amazing offer from them to ship your vinyls home if you're in Nashville visiting, so you don't have to mess with keeping up with it on your trip. Can order whatever you want... and of course, totally reasonable prices. A huge advocate of the local rock/metal scene. 10/10. Love shopping here!
If vinyl is your vessel and heavy metal your compass, Dead End Records is a damn fine port to dock. With a fierce selection of high-quality used records—especially in the heavier, riff-splitting realms—this place feels less like a store and more like a hidden temple for sonic treasure hunters. The vibe? Gritty, cool, and artistically unpolished in the best possible way. You’ll find rare and hard-to-find albums tucked between cult classics, and there’s always something weird or wonderful waiting to jump into your collection. And aye, let’s not forget the crew—friendly, welcoming, and sharper than a freshly cut 7-inch. Oh, and the puppy mascots? They’re basically co-captains. Come for the records, stay for the furry morale boosters. Dead End Records: where lost music finds its resurrection and the heavy riffs hit home.
Was exploring some small shops in Nashville, and found this. Cute, small record shop hidden away among others. Some interesting metal vinyls such as Title Fight, and Deftones. This place was cool to come across, I'd come again if I was in the area.
