This record shop is a true gem! I absolutely love this place and have both bought and sold records here. Conveniently located in Stoney Point Fashion Park, it’s a must-visit for any music lover. The staff is incredibly knowledgeable across all genres and always super friendly, whether you’re digging for a rare find or bringing in records to sell. On my most recent visit, I stopped in to sell a few albums and was reminded why I enjoy coming here so much. They’ve created a relaxed, welcoming vibe with a cozy couch and chairs, lava lamps glowing nearby, and great music spinning in the background. That evening, they were playing Don Henley, which was a perfect way to end a work day for me! Crossroads Records is the kind of spot where you can easily lose track of time — a perfect blend of great music, good people, and laid-back atmosphere - I highly recommend!
LP’s, CD’s - Good People…! Called first, encouraged to come on by - Wayne provided expert Jazz advice and homespun warmth and I found my last minute Christmas gifts…!
I’ve heard a lot of good things about this place and finally got a chance to check it out. It’s got a great vibe and the employees were super nice and helpful. I ended up getting a shirt, some cds, and an air plant. Will be back.
I was absolutely BLOWN away by Crossroads Records! Their collection is incredibly well curated with a perfect mix of new releases and classics, but where they really shine is their used record collection. Wow. Talk about some rare finds! From the moment we walked in, the staff was super friendly, checked in to see if we were looking for anything, and made sure to point out that the vinyl in the front is all classical, but not to worry, there’s a huge selection in the back. So if you walk in and wonder why you only see Beethoven and Bach, keep going! The organization here deserves its own shoutout. Everything from records to CDs to shirts is alphabetized and easy to browse. I’m used to record shops just throwing CDs together and making you crane your neck for hours, but here I could go straight to the D’s or T’s and find exactly what I wanted. They also have cassettes, fun knick-knacks, and even some art sprinkled around. The vibe of the shop is so welcoming compared to others I’ve been to in Richmond. There is seating, listening stations, and an atmosphere that feels more like a true third space than just a store. I ended up finding some Talking Heads CDs I’d been hunting for, and my husband scored some used Yes vinyls in amazing condition. We couldn’t be happier with our finds. If you’re into music, records, or just want a great place to dig and hang out, I can’t recommend Crossroads Records enough. This place is a gem!
First time visiting and was blown away by the selection! It’s a vinyl lovers paradise. New, used..whatever is your jam they have. To top it off staff was friendly and helpful. I felt welcomed and enjoyed my day!
