Great independent record store. Good mix of inventory from rock, classics, jazz, rap, pop and much more. Used bins are well stocked with a great rotation of new stuff all the time. Bargain bins, accessories and a great little chill area! Stop into this gem!
Not the biggest shop you'll ever go to, but it's stocked well and the owner is super cool. He will help you find what you need if it's not in stock. Also, ideal for RSD mornings when you don't want to wait in huge lines to fight for a copy of what you're after. Very smooth and easy experience compared to the bigger stores in Rochester.
With an extensive selection, we perused the stacks for quite some time. The shop owner was very kind, gave us many suggestions and went to the back to find us certain records we were in search of.
Record Store John is a pretty solid fella who has a phenomenal shop and makes it easy to get whatever your heart desires. The Canandaigua Record Exchange is probably the best addition to Canandaigua in years. P.S. Do not mention Father John Misty or the King Gizzard & The Lizard Wizard concert setlist of their Rochester 2022 show
Great, little shop with a broad selection (all genres) of music (mainly on vinyl). Stop in and have a chat! They will happily assist you with finding what you need!
