If I could imagine a physical JB Hi-Fi reincarnation of a legend (I could), it would be Luke Carmille (sorry I butchered the spelling of his last name but I’m pretty sure that’s close/its something like that). He was SO helpful. He didn’t need customer service, customer service needed HIM!! He was just amazing. Helped me do a whole trade in, figured out the best deal as a soon-to-be broke uni student, and he had such great vibes. Luke deserves a raise, or you must give him a beer, and if he doesn’t drink then give him a comfy gaming chair but make sure he gets a beverage because he must be thirsty from carrying the entire store on his back. Thank you Luke for making my JB Hi-Fi experience one akin to doing a heist - it was just that invigorating and helpful. JB Hi-Fi Bunbury is lucky to have Luke Carmille! Thank you from Olivia (and my mum). Super excited to unbox my iPhone 17 knowing I just finessed the economical system thanks to Luke’s guidance.
Visiting this place is soooooo addictive! Staff are always so helpful, friendly and very informative. It's always a pleasure to shop here. Highly recommended. Keep up the good work folks and I'll see you next time. 🙂
My cousin wanted a pop figure and couldn’t find it in store. Tracey a staff member in the Bunbury JB Hi-fi went out of her way to help. At first she couldn’t find it but went above and beyond to try and track one down. She found the last one in Perth and got it sent down! She was truly lovely. Thanks again! My cousin is one happy girl!
I've always experienced excellent service at this business but today's service was absolutely exemplary. My salesperson was knowledgeable, informative and personable, and shared a laugh when we found we had common challenges with our tech. He listened to me respectfully and considerately, divined my needs, and matched a device to them. It was a pleasure to do business with him.
It was disappointing. They are more focused on entertaining customers' queries, customers buying headsets or customers of certain 'demographic' rather than on customers who already know what they need. This is the 3rd time I have been passed to different staff every time I visit the store. The first was when I bought a gaming laptop. Second, it was when I bought wireless X-box controllers. All I wanted was to buy a TV. Three staff approached me and they passed me to another staff stating they are a bit busy and someone will eventually help me. Most of them are going inside the warehouse for some reason. So I walked away and told the staff manning the door that I am leaving. She asked, "Did someone helped you?". I replied, "No one helped me." I went to 'THE GOOD GUYS" instead. They are immensely helpful and I got what I needed in 3 minutes. I even got a AUD 50 off when I told them the price of the same TV I had look at JB-HIFI. Thank you very much to THE GOOD GUYS. I don't hate JB-HIFI as a whole. The one in Midland Gate shopping centre was very efficient and accommodating.
