Good Vibs, great music and a comfortable atmosphere will be found here at Buddha Belly Records. The owner Mike is about the most approachable down to earth cool man this side of the collector circle. No question is left unanswered and the conversations about yesteryear flow like a cool stream. He invited us to relax in the lounge which is tastefully decorated with all types of music genre. This is the type of store that I can remember visiting back in the 70s. He prices his items fairly with specialized items displayed properly. And to top the climax, I was not in the store more than a minute and discovered a title that had been on my want list. I was informed his inventory is always fluid so we will be sure to stop back in to find another goody. Thank you Mike for a memorable first visit. You’ve earned our business.

Buddha Vinyl Records out of New York is truly a gem! Mike is the ultimate VIP host, very welcoming, knowledgeable, and makes every single person feel like family the moment they walk in. The energy of the store is unmatched, the vibes are always right, and the selection is top-tier. There’s so much more at Buddha Belly Records in Sayville than just the best records ever from every genre and every decade. They sell record players, all kinds of crystals, jewelry, incense, clothing and awesome snacks. They’re a great source for cool gifts. The owner is informed and interesting, and a delight to talk with. The whole experience is immersive, from the scent of quality incense to the high end sound system playing a range of super fab eclectic music, loud enough to bop your head but low enough to hold a conversation that envelops and soothes you as you float thru the magical atmosphere of the place. There’s and even an arcade game to play. Don’t miss this little hidden gem.

Fun find and a huge selection. It was fun to dig through what they had and I like that they offer crystals as well. The guy working seemed happy to be there and was very welcoming for my first time.
