Broad Street Records

Fantastic selection of used vinyl records. Not a ton of new stuff, so if you're looking for contemporary sealed vinyl, it's probably not your first stop. But there's selection quite wide so absolutely taking a look at this long-standing institution.

On Black Friday I was trying to get Deeper into the well, I live in charlotte NC and all of the stores near me sold out. I am originally from outside of Syracuse and my parents said if anyone up there had it they would go get it for me, I called everyone and they had it in stock, which was very exciting. He was about a two hour drive from my parents and he said he could mail it, I paid him and then and they sent it right off. Amazing experience even though I never got to go in person.

Love this store. I try to get down to Waverly at least once a month on a Friday or Saturday just to do some digging. I never leave without a couple records. Awesome jazz selection with lots of Blue Note rereleases. Also lots of 90s and indie rock, as well as Beatles and Beatles related records.

Pat Ayers is owner of Broad Street Records. Pat has been in this business for more than 20 years and is passionate about the music industry. Always treated like your the most important person in the store. Knowledge of the music, vinyl, and audio components (specifically turntables). I've done business with Mayor Ayres for all of his 2 decades plus, and find his passion for the vinyl, and his dedication to the customer, unmatched. Very highly recommended.
