Was price gouging on RSD last year, I get they might need an extra % but it’s not cool to get a record to go to another store to see it for 30 dollars less. Goes against RSD

A much needed record shop in Downtown Lafayette. Prices can be a bit high, but that's expected when you need to pay the shop rent. Check back frequently for the bargain bins, sometimes a few used gems will pop up.

Prices here are occasionally reasonable, but their curation and organization is the pits. Everything is alphabetical in a system that forces you to guess which genre they’ve placed your favorite artists in 26 different times. Staff are kind of slow as well. Drinks were decent.

Awesome shop. The vibe and energy there is on point. Not too keen on the prices tho, but I understand they gotta make a living too. I was super impressed by the way the store was cataloged. And the tie die gal behind the counter was super helpful and an interesting source of knowledge. Definitely will return when my wallet is a bit fatter!

Hubby surprised me with a trip to Black wax, I loved it. Small little shop, with a combination of new and used records. Decently priced. We'll definitely be back!
