First time here and I had a great experience. The staff was really knowledgeable.they helped with great recommendations.great atmosphere and fun vibes. Nice to take enthusiasts or first time buyers alike. Support your LCS and check there guys out.

This place rules. We were visiting from out of town for a wedding and stopped in here and I could've spent all day. Great selection of both comics and records, and the staff was super cool as well. Next time I'm in Dallas I'm coming back!

We were killing time in Dallas before a show and visited Black Cat based on its positive reviews. Unassuming outside, but this place is a goldmine!!! Great selection of vinyl and comics. Super friendly staff. Knowledgeable and helpful but not at all pushy. Picked up an absolutely immaculate copy of Yessongs at an insanely cheap price. And an obscure Kansas title (Masque) also in phenomenal shape (both of these are well over 50 years old). And topped it off with a new copy of the latest Marcus King LP. Black Cat will be a must visit on any future trips to or through Dallas. Thanks for your hospitality Paddy (and the burger recommendation—it was delicious).

Went to check out some comics and records and they did not disappoint. Had tons of comics that I don’t usually see and tons of affordable rare vinyl. Also, talked with the manager for like 30 mins about music in all sorts of genres. Super knowledgeable staff and even recommended some really good food nearby. Would definitely recommend.

They carry manga and comics I’ve never heard of or seen before, so thats major plus. I literally spent about an hour in there. I highly recommend the visit.
