Birdland has a great collection of music in a number of formats including LPs. The owners are very knowledgeable. If they don't have it, quite often they can order for you. The prices are reasonable too. I highly recommend Birdland.

Birdland Music on Providence Rd was like stepping back into The Year of the X (if you've been around here a long time, IYKYK). They were established in 69 and are truly a mom and pop local music store. Records, CDs, I think some tapes even. My son, 16, loves it. I was taking to the owner, Barry, i think, and looking at pics on the walls, I had talked to the same man in the 90s lol. Such a vast aray of genres both used and new. And he sells record player needles of all varieties. This store is a MUST VISIT if you enjoy music and still purchase (or are starting to purchase) physical media. Support local businesses. I used to buy Boathouse tix there back in the day!!!. Check it out!! I will be going back.

If you a music enthusiast, and are in the area or just passing through, I highly suggest visit this shop. Been in business since 1964, family run. The size of the shop does not do the inside any justice, as you can easily spend hours surfing over they're thousands of vinyl records, CDs and cassettes, and all are very fairly priced. The owners are very well versed in their music, and love to recommend albums and artists. I can't recommend it enough, and plan to stop by again soon

I’m writing this specifically for Bobby. Bobby is one of the coolest people ever. He was so enthusiastic of music, super helpful, made a ton of funny side remarks. His helpfulness made it incredibly easy to get my dad vinyls for his birthday. The store also has an awesome selection of vinyls, stuff I wouldn’t expect anyone to have. 10/10
