Good ambiance for browsing either yourself or with others. Not too big not too small; exactly what I want from a physical media shop. Workers are friendly and open to talking but will leave you alone if that's what you want. They have a punch card when you buy stuff! Always have old vinyls on sale. I bought a Henry Mancini one for $4.99. I mostly look through the metal, pop, soundtrack, and rock sections and they always have interesting things and artists I don't know of.

Purchased Warren Zevon's Epilogue: Live At The Edmonton Folk Music Festival [RSD Black Friday 2025] via website at 10:53 am on 11/29/2025, my credit card was charged, and received a confirmation email at said time. Without any explanation or response from the store, I noted about 4 hours later that my order had disappeared from my account on their webpage. I emailed the store and received no response. I then had to waste another hour scouring the internet to replace the purchase at another record store, and of course at a higher price than I had originally paid at Armadillo. Just received an email from the store canceling the order ( 26 hours after they confirmed the order ). Would not recommend purchasing anything from their website.

This place is rad and they have a TON to look dig through. I sold some vinyl here and I was pleasantly surprised with the payout. They were more than fair with prices and extremely helpful. Eric was super kind and welcoming also. I can’t wait to come back and buy more!

Awesome staff! They help answer any question and they can help you find new or previously owned equipment. If your request isn't in stock, they can order it. I love my new, previously owned record player

Ok been selling records when I get them the problem is no one pays good. Well this place out did them selfs they bought Al mine I walk with cash on hand now this place is number one the place rocks and in downtown Davis fits great you know when I like some thing well this is record a buy dot com place you guys rock
