Almost Anything

I walked in and looked around for a bit and wasn’t acknowledged, which was fine. When I went over to the card section, I said hi and asked if he did trade-ins for Pokémon cards. He explained that he doesn’t and that he’s very picky about it, and suggested I come back after Christmas which was fair. However, when I tried to make small talk and asked if he owned the place and what made him start the shop, his attitude completely changed. He was very rude and told me he didn’t have time to talk or explain anything. The store was completely empty at the time, so it felt unnecessary and unprofessional. It’s a nice store, but the owner’s attitude made me uncomfortable, and I ended up just walking out. Customer service really matters, especially in a small local business. Edit I wasn’t asking anything personal or investigative. I was simply trying to make friendly conversation and learn a little about a local business I was interested in supporting. Asking if someone owns a shop and what inspired them to open it is pretty common small talk. My review was constructive and based on my experience. Unfortunately, this response only reinforces my point about the lack of professionalism.

I don’t have a phone so that’s why the profile pic is my Mom. The first thought I had when I went into the store was “This is amazing!!!” I am 13yrs old and a big Marvel comic and movie fan.

Great Little shop that has an abundant of thrifty items and nice worker there that helped me a ton and made sure I was ok. My friend found some magic things. And I found some some movies and some other things I loved. Everything seems reasonably. :)

Me and my dad went into here a couple of times and got some good deals and sold some coins silver and gold items and then the last time we went in there the guy said he didn’t have any time to look at my items and said he had taxes to do and he was pretty rude about it and after we left it gave me and my dad very bad vibes also I dropped all my coins in the road after this happened and felt even more weird about this place my dad said he’d never go again I would definitely still go in there but maybe once it’s all settled down and I don’t feel weird about this place anymore

Highly recommend for nostalgia lovers and ‘almost anything’ cool!! Greatly appreciate the business done here with kindness and respect!! Will be back for more!!
