amazing records… fantastic employees... especially when tallulah and annie are working… All I want is to share a smooch at midnight under the largest disco ball in carrboro
Bought a really expensive record here in April only to find it was defective once I came home to play it. I emailed the shop owner with proof. He offered to send some records from his used inventory as compensation, since the distributor no longer had any replacement copies he could order to exchange for the one I bought. I sent him a list of records that amounted to the same total as the record I bought and provided my shipping address. It’s been several months and I’ve received nothing in the mail. Have followed up per email and heard nothing as well. Disappointing experience.
This place is great! Friendly staff and lots of cheap vinyls. I’ll give this 5 stars once they remove the mask policy.
Came in to town for a show @ Cat's Cradle. Visited this store on a Tuesday. Parking was a pain, but that should not sway you from checking out this gem. One of two vinyl shops in the area. Small and quaint with knowledgeable staff. Was able to find a rare Hip Hop album and a Soundtrack that has been eluding me. A must stop for a vinyl enthusiast and cassette collector alike.
Knowledgeable staff, nice finds. Large selection of bluegrass and rare classical- nice break from the hip limited edition reissue scene mixed with trendiest used records with discog price matching. Listening station to check quality. They can be a little late to open, so bring a book or something.
