I’m obsessed with this store after just one visit. This is the kind or record shop you go to because you love vinyls. No judgement on what you buy. No snooty employees looking down at you because you want to get something mainstream (Portland record shops could take a note from here). I would happily spend hours in this shop browsing and chatting with the owner.

Horrible customer service. I returned a vinyl album because after getting it home and played it I heard it skip. The store had placed a note on the shrink wrap that it played fine. It did not. I stopped by the store a little before they opened since I was in the area and I live an hour away (traffic can be bad through North Portland). I hadn’t known their hours - my bad. While the person who talked to me eventually gave me a refund. She also said “it was incredibly rude of me to come by before they were open.” I apologized. She then told me “do not come back.” I won’t. WRT your response: Maybe going forward, when you agree to help someone (in my case by going back in and confirming the issue with the album), don't then insult your customer for asking for the service just provided. You had complete agency to tell me to come back when the store was open. You didn't.

Love this shop. The owner has great taste in music and is great to talk to about practically every album in the shop! I buy mostly metal records, and the selection here is pretty good. Owner is happy to order whatever you're looking for. Thanks Miki!
